CNC plasma cutting

CNC plasma cutting

Plasma cutting is performed by CNC (computer numeric control) machine that ensures precision and integrity of the plasma cutting process. CNC plasma cutter uses a focused electric arc that causes melting of the high-temperature plasma column and removes the workpiece from the area of cut. Plasma is fully or partially ionized gas (compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen or argon/oxygen) consisting of positive ions and negative electrons. 20 to 1000 A plasma sources providing ideal cutting results for metal sheets of 0.5 mm to 160 mm are used for the plasma cutting process. Plasma cutting is also applicable to all electrically conductive materials. In metal industry, plasma cutting is used for structural, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal.

Quality guarantee

CNC plasma cutting is subject to strict control for our clients to be 100 % confident of high quality service. CNC plasma cutting processes are subject to LST EN 1090-2:2008+A1 and LST EN 13920 standards. The standards specify quality requirements for articles cut with oxyfuel cutting machines.

CNC plasma cutting specifications
